LAGOS—The Alliance for Democracy, AD, yesterday in Lagos said presidential aspirants vying on its platform are to purchase its nomination forms for the 2015 elections with N5 million each.
National Chairman of the party, Senator Mojisoluwa Akinfenwa, who disclosed this at the opening of the party’s state secretariat in Lagos state, also said that nominations forms for governorship would sell for N2million, Senate N1million, House of Reps N500,000; House of Assembly N50, 000, Local Government Chairman and Councillor N50, 000 and N20,000 respectively.
Akinfenwa said that the party was poised win the 2015 presidential election and to take back power in Lagos state and in Nigeria in 2015.
He said “Our National Working Committee Will decide on our presidential candidate next week. We will field candidates for all the offices in 2015.”
On its resolve to win the governorship elections in Lagos state, he said “the AD won the governorship election in Lagos in 2007. We are back to take back power. “We plan to achieve 20 times more empowerment and prosperity across the length and width of Lagos state.”
