Nollywood director, Eboka to partner with Okoku’s foundation

Top Nollywood director, Austeen Eboka has joined the train of Nollywood stars who have resolved to join forces with ex-international, Paul Okoku to make a success of the charity-based foundation, the Greater Tomorrow Children Fund.

Eboka, who is based in Atalanta, USA, told Sports Vanguard in an interview that he was committed to doing anything that will impact the lives of less-privileged children in the society.

Eboka, who was the director of the award-winning film, Adora, said having known Okoku from their secondary school days that he was going to partner GTCF to fulfill its dream of putting a smile on the faces of Nigerians.

” We attended the same secondary school, St. Finbarr’s college, Akoka. And, being the gentleman that he has grown to become, with a very kind heart and giving spirit, I was not surprised that he initiated the Greater Tomorrow Children Foundation.

“That is a testament to the ideal by which he lives, always looking to help and better the lives of the less fortunate. It was magnanimous of him to ask me to be an ambassador of this laudable Foundation.

And I am both honored and humbled for such opportunity”, added the director of Adora, which won the African Oscars recently in Beverly Hills, California.
Continuing, Eboka urged corporate bodies and Nigerians to be selfless in supporting the foundation.

“In life, we need to imbibe the spirit of selflessness. Being able to partner with the Foundation gives me immense pleasure. Truth be told, it is the responsibility of every Nigerian to be their brother’s/sister’s keeper. Giving is an attribute of Godliness.

“There are so many less fortunate in our society and for us to continue to enjoy the fullness of God’s grace on our lives, we must extend a helping hand and show compassion to others.

After all, the way we live our life is the only gift we can give back to our creator who has blessed us with so much, undeservedly. So, it goes without saying that, celebrity or not, it is our duty, individually and collectively, to take care of one another”, added Eboka.
