Vanguard wins Hackday

Nigeria’s premier online newspaper, Vanguardngr.com (Vanguard Newspaper), has won Editors Lab Hackday #HackAgainstEbola in Nigeria. Vanguard newspaper won with the #EbolaGo app, an information apps which gives the users all relevant information needed on Ebola.

Voice of Nigeria was rated  second place while the University of Lagos earned the third position. The Vanguard team will represent Nigeria at the World Championship holding in Barcelona, Spain.

The event is organised by the Global Editors Network and hosted by the School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University.
