Lagos—The Head, Department of Building, at the University of Lagos, UNILAG, Prof. Godwin Idoro, has said that proper training in the area of project management will bring an end to failed projects in the construction industry.
Idoro, who is a Professor of Project Management said this at a media chat to intimate members of the public on the 10th Annual Management lecture holding at the UNILAG on Thursday, February 5, 2015.
The lecture, which is the tenth in the series, is titled: “National Vision on Housing and Infrastructure: The role of project management.” The Managing Director, Aso Savings and Loans Plc, Mr. Hassan Usman is expected to present the lecture.
Speaking on the upcoming lecture, Idoro said: “We are trying to incorporate the need for project management in the industry. It is a town-industry synergy which we believe is good for industry.”
