Only 70% of electricity supplied to us paid for — AEDC

By Boluwaji Obahopo

LOKOJA—The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, AEDC, has denied making more money under estimated bills, saying that only about 70 percent of the electricity supplied to the company by the market operator was actually being paid for.

AEDC Head of Public Relations and Media, Ahmed Shekarau, stated this yesterday in Lokoja while reacting to outcry over epileptic power supply and estimated billings in the area.
