Three people were killed and 20 injured on Sunday when police and supporters of Zamalek football club clashed in Cairo, the health ministry in the Egyptian capital said.
The clashes erupted outside a stadium in the city’s northeast after fans tried to force their way into the venue to watch a game, the ministry said.
