Nwabuko, who was also Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt captain signed for the Kazakh club on Monday after passing medicals. Biik Kazygurt won the women league in their country and would be playing in the Euro champions league, one of the reasons Nwabuko joined the team.

“I am doing well here already. I have Charity Adule here so everything is going well.

“Besides, the coach speaks English and we have some American, Mexican and Serbian players who speak English and there hasn’t been any boring moment,” said the player yesterday.

Nwanbuko won all domestics titles with the Rivers Angels. She also led the Falcons to a win of the African women championship last October in Namibia.

Speaking on Nwanbuko arrival in Kazakhstan, former Falconets attacker Adule said she was excited to have a Nigerian mate in the team.

“I am so happy to have Nwabuku among us. There is a saying that people who work together will win, whether it be against complex football defenses,or the problem of modern society…. society, football and together.”
