Media mogul and Chairman of the Silverbird Group Ben Murray-Bruce, has expressed fear that the youths of Nigeria might become the debtors of tomorrow instead of the leaders of tomorrow as a result of the recurring borrowing by state governors in the country.

Bruce, who is a senator- elect took to his twitter page to berate the act of borrowing by governors.

“We keep saying youths are leaders of tomorrow, but with the way Govs are borrowing it could be said that youths are the debtors of tomorrow!
We make a mockery of our boast of being the largest economy in Africa when we borrow to pay salaries. We should lend to others not borrow,” his tweet reads.

Recalled that he has promised to expose anybody that offers him or any senator ‘Ghana Must Go’ (in reference to the infamous bribing of lawmakers in the country) while urging that no state governor or aide should get salary or allowance until all workers in the state are paid.
