2015:Ndoma-Egba faces huddle to return to senate

By Johnbosco Agbakwuru, Abuja

The Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba is facing serious huddle in the realization of his re-election bid to the senate in the 2015 elections.

Senator Ndoma-Egba, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, represents Cross River Central Senatorial district and is serving his third term in the senate.

But the recent declaration of the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation, Hon. John Owan Enoh, representing Obubra/Etung Federal Constitution to contest the senate seat for the Cross River Central Senatorial district was an indication that Senator Ndoma-Egba will be facing a serious challenge.

During the Enoh’s declaration, apart from the allegation that Governor Liyel Imoke was backing him, five out of six Local Government Council chairmen that make up the Central district adopted him, while six caucus leaders of the councils also endorsed the Etung-born politician for the senate seat in 2015.
