Lagos - Nosiru Bello, Head Coach of Nigeria Table Tennis Federation (NTTF), on Monday commended the efforts of Wahid-Enitan Oshodi, the President of the body for enhancing the growth of the sport.
Bello , at the ongoing NTTF National Club’s League at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos, said that table tennis had recorded tremendous successes.

“Since the coming of Barr. Oshodi Enitan in table tennis, we have successfully organised two international championships here in Teslim Balogun (stadium); we have also organised a lot of competitions to upgrade what we did last year.
“This year the competition you are seeing here is a team club championship, which fine-tunes what we have been doing and what we have been teaching the boys and girls.
“It also helps us to determine and to get more upcoming players that we might feature for Nigeria in the next coming All Africa Games and Olympic 2016 in Rio, the man is trying very hard.”
The 23 clubs are currently participating in the championships that will end on Oct. 17. (NAN)
