KANO – Kano Governor and All Progressive Congress presidential candidate, Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has endorsed his septuagenarian Deputy, Dr. Umar Ganduje as his successor.
The development was the ooutcome of a crucial meeting by the All Progressive Congress stakeholders in the state Friday morning.
The marathon meeting that lasted over 7 hours also endorsed the aspirants for senatorial positions. They are former military administrator of Kaduna state, Brigadier Lawan Jafar Isa for Kano central; Kabiru Gaya, Kano south; while former Deputy Governor during the administration of Ibrahim Shekarau, Tijjani Muhammad Gwarzo would fly APC senatorial flag from Kano north.
