Dutse—The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has arrested 36 years old Abubakar Sadiq, at Dala, Kano State, for threatening to kill his sister’s ex-lover for dumping her.
The suspect said he took the action because the suitor dumped his sister after dating her for months and even proposed to marry her.
Commandant of the corps in the state, Dr. Muhammad Gidado, said Sadiq called his sister’s suitor, Musbahu, on phone and threatened to kill him for breaking his sister’s heart.
The suitor, Musbahu Adamu, 35, residing at Sakwaya Village, Dutse Local Government Area, admitted that he had dated Sadiq’s sister, Zulaihatu, for some time, adding that he decided not to marry her because of her attitude.
