PDP chieftain warns against tribal sentiments

UGHELLI—AHEAD of the 2015 general elections, the Assistant Legal Adviser of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State, Mr. Bernard Odior, has warned the various ethnic groups in the state to shun tribal sentiments in the interest of democracy.

Odior, who spoke to Vanguard at Ozoro, in Isoko North Local Government Area of the state, on the emergence of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa as the PDP governorship candidate in the 2015 general elections, described same as a reflection of the wishes of the people to inject new ideas into governance so as to attract more development.
