The governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State Nyesom Wike has said money cannot be used to win election in the state adding that only God that can deliver one to the number position in the state.
Wike who spoke at a sensitization rally on Non-violent Election organized by the Grassroots Development Initiative (GDI), accused the Rivers State government of trying to use money to buy over voters to secure victory in the state.
He said All Progressives Congress (APC) believes in rigging and in the use of money to buy over voters, but said all the antics of the party to rig the forth coming election will be fruitless. He said the president will be re-elected and he will win in Rivers state because it is the will of God.
In his words: “APC, believes in rigging and in the use of money to buy votes, but I want to tell them that God is involved, there is nothing they can do. When God’s hand is involved there is nothing money can do.”
