The Wife of Ekiti Governor, Mrs Feyisetan Fayose, on Tuesday said that gifts for her 51st birthday will be shared among all the homes and centres for the less privileged in the state.
Fayose said this in a statement issued by her Press Officer, Mrs Tolulope Ayo-Ajayi, in Ado-Ekiti.
She advised anyone who wanted to celebrate with her to donate his gift items to the less privileged in the society.
The statement quoted the governor’s wife as saying that such items should be dropped at her office inside the Government House Complex.
“All the gifts will be centrally packaged and divided in the office of the wife of the governor and they will be sent to different homes and centers for the less privileged across the state,” she said.
The governor’s wife frowned at the poor quality of her photograph being used by some people because they were often copied from the internet.
She advised anyone that needed her photograph to approach her office or office of the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor to collect it.
Mrs Fayose’s birthday comes up on Thursday Jan. 8.
She has planned visits to different homes and centers for the less privileged across the state as part of activities to mark the birthday.
Fayose urged people to spare thoughts for the less privileged in the society.
