IN a unique synergy to promote peace and love among citizens of this country, and the world at large, popular gospel singer, Anny, has partnered Niger-Delta Development Commission (NDDC), to further convey the message of peace across the country and beyond.
The talented singer said, she was inspired to release the song when she saw that the peaceful cities in the northern part of the country where she grew up had become unlivable and unsafe for the people and she feel that the only way she can campaign for peace in those areas is to do song titled, Peace Around The World.
The song which was produced by Dr Frabz featured the likes of Sammie Okposo, Onos, Lamboginny, Charles Granville, Jaywon, Sultan, Ibitayo Jeje, Sabina and Henrisoul among others.
The video was shot in Lagos by Frizzle and Bizzle. Speaking on the all-star collaboration, the Delta State-born singer said, “The song is not just about me.
I needed to bring in people from different areas and different religions in Nigeria. I brought in artistes; my friends and colleagues with similar visions with me, from different ethnic groups to lend their voices to my message of peace in Nigeria and around the world.
I also sourced for an organization that will partner with me on this project. NDDC even though specifically tailored to cater for the Niger-Deltans, still had ears for any good project and they agreed to partner with us.”
