Nigeria Super Eagles flew out, at about 9pm Thursday night, from Abuja ahead of a decisive AFCON qualifier in Sudan this weekend.

A top official confirmed that all arrangements was made to ensure a hitch-free flight for the team.

The Super Eagles rounded up their training in the Federal Capital Territory yesterday morning with all 24 invited players involved.

Hosts Sudan have moved the match to the Municipal Stadium in Khartoum, which has an artificial pitch.

“We have been training at the Goal Project because of the artificial turf in Sudan,” said coach Stephen Keshi.

“But am not sure it’s going to be the same with the one here because I hear theirs is much newer and we don’t know if its first grade or second level but until we get there to find out.

“All the same we have to take that out of our mind and just play 90 minutes and get out of there.”
