Judge: Holmes faster than expected Selection Panel
February 2, 2015 - Jury selection in the case of making theater for Aurora, Colorado could end a week earlier than planned because the process is faster than expected. Judge Carlos A. Jr. said the Samur and teaming, the first phase of the process could result in a week.
Judge Samur initially estimated that the first phase of the process would last until February 13, but now thought to be enveloped by 9 Monday, February.
About 9,000 jurors were summoned for service in the case. The selection process could last until May or June The defendant, James Holmes, is present in the courtroom during the process.
